Will I be sponsored for my air-travel?
Yes, Generic-Haskell will pay for your relocation to the U.S.

Will the air-tickets of dependents be paid?
Yes, at this time Generic-Haskell will pay for your spouse and children only. They, will be relocated after three months on your first project. This is done to enable us to relocate you quickly to your city of work (depending on your project) as well as to provide you the time to make arrangements for their arrival. Please note that Parents are not considered your immediate dependents.

How will my air-tickets reservations be made and sent to me?
Our office reserves all air tickets. You will need to send the office a copy of your passport documents as well as a copy of your visa stamped in the passport. They will courier/mail the tickets to the mailing address that you specify in your documents. All reservations are made from Bombay (if you are flying from India) only.

When can I travel to the US?
Generic-Haskell must approve your travel to the US. Generic-Haskell will inform you at least two weeks before your travel date. If you have any notice period with your current employer then you must Generic-Haskell of it at the time an offer is made to you as well as on H1 visa approval.

How much baggage is allowed on international flights?
You are allowed two suitcases each weighing 35kgs and either one or two hand baggage depending on the airlines. All airlines have their own rules so please contact them for further information when you receive your ticket. Generic-Haskell will not be responsible for any excess baggage charges.

What should I bring with me when I travel to the US?
Clothing: Employee will need to bring a suit, a blazer, dress (formal) shirts and pants or skirts and dresses for work. As you may go to places that are cold you may want to pack one sweater and a jacket if you have one. Jackets are relatively inexpensive to buy in the US.
Books: Employee will need to bring all books that are required for you to carry out your work responsibilities.
Food: If employee cooks, employee may want to bring the required utensils with you. US authorities do not permit anyone to bring any agricultural products into the US.
Money: Employee is advised to carry sufficient funds to take care of your expenses for the first month.

Who will receive me at the airport in the US?
There is a shuttle service available to the company guest house from the airport. Information will be given to you about these services prior to your departure from India.
